🎟️ Introducing Gareth in Les Misérables!

As you probably know, Gareth doesn’t get near enough applause in his day job. So he takes to the stage outside of work to meet his quota of singing and dancing followed by rapturous applause.

When I interviewed Gareth for a job at Jones And Co. 10 years ago I thought the little snippet he put in his CV about enjoying amateur dramatics was a good thing. I thought it showed work ethic and passion on his part. Both admirable traits. Little did I know that 10 years later I would have turned into Gareth’s promoter. Mike Tyson had Don King. Gareth has me and our newsletter.

So without further ado let me tell you the news… After wowing audiences as the lead in Phantom of the Opera last year, Gareth has now landed the dream role of Jean Valjean in Les Misérables. This is his biggest role yet and Gareth is delighted and slightly nervous, but we know he will not disappoint. If anyone should be nervous it should be Hugh Jackman.

Gareth has a big fan club at Jones And Co. for two reasons. First, he is just as passionate about eyewear and delivering an incredible customer service performance for every single client, and this builds real relationships. And secondly, because he is incredibly talented. It’s quite the experience seeing him on stage doing his thing. And he keeps going from strength to strength with his roles and never shies away from taking on the challenge of a bigger role.

🏔️ Jones And Co. Clients Take Their Eyewear to New Heights!

When we say great eyewear takes you places, we mean it. A huge shoutout to Bim and Bode, who conquered Mount Kilimanjaro—and did it in true Jones And Co. style.

Bode tackled the climb in his Rolf Substance frames, while Bim made it to the top in her Theo’s—proving that the right eyewear belongs everywhere, even at 5,895m above sea level!

🐈 The Cat’s Out of the Bag - Manchester’s Cat Café is Making a Comeback

Great news for feline fans! After closing its doors in January 2021, Manchester’s beloved Cat Café is making a return. The café will reopen in a new location within Barton Arcade on Deansgate, just 5 minutes from the practice, bringing back the unique experience of enjoying a coffee surrounded by friendly felines.

While the exact opening date is still under wraps, the team has hinted at a spring or summer 2025 launch. Whether you’re a cat lover or just curious, it’s a welcome addition to Manchester’s eclectic mix of spots to relax and unwind.
